We continue to drive the Aerospace career, join the Hackathon Space Apps CR 2020 a global online challenge, out of the orbit!

From October 2 to 4, Space Apps CR 2020: https://nasaspaceappscr.globalhackathons.co/ organized by Global Hackathons with the support of the Aerospace Commission, invites Developers, Entrepreneurs, Scientists, Designers, Creators and Technologists to the world’s largest Aerospace Hackathon around the world!

Help us solve global challenges that we face on earth and in space, using NASA data and open source technologies. The event is free, invite your family, friends and colleagues, and let’s learn more about the latest trends in Technologies. The competition will be supported by mentors and Experts such as: Ronald Chang Díaz, CFIA Aerospace Commission, Carlos Enrique Alvarado, CFIA Aerospace Commission, Leo Camacho, Space Apps Local Lead San José, Daniel Hernández, INCAE MBA and digital technologies expert, Camilo M, an expert in Virtual Reality, among many others.

The 2020 Global Challenges are:
i) Observe the Earth using satellite technologies and make them accessible to decision-making scientists and the public,
ii) Inform about new ways of aggregating scientific and historical information,
iii) A Sustainable future for future generations,
iv ) Raise awareness,
v) Confront from natural disasters to economic or social inequality,
vi) Connect people with space missions, and finally
vii) Invent your own challenge!

What is the Space Apps Challenge?
Since it’s beginning in 2012, NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge has grown into the world’s largest global Hackathon empowering thousands of people to use NASA open data and resources to develop innovative solutions for future challenges for us. on Earth and in space.

Space Apps inspires communities to come together, think critically, and create answers to important problems. Every year, Space Apps encourages thousands of people around the world to use NASA’s resources: data, technologies, open source in a 72-hour contest. Teams of technologists, scientists, designers, students, entrepreneurs and other professions work together to respond to some of the greatest global challenges.

Pool Prizes: Winners of the 2020 Space Apps Global Challenge will appear on NASA’s website and social media, and will receive an invitation to present their projects to NASA staff (and partner space agencies, if applicable). If the trip is deemed safe, the winners will also be invited to visit a NASA site with the Space Apps Global Organizing Team to watch a spacecraft launch.
